BennuCare is here to create a space where any experience can be explored with compassion. We offer therapeutic services that are unique and holistic, specializing in anxiety, grief, Life transitions, personal growth and self-esteem, discrimination, bias, racial trauma, immigration, acculturation, depression, self-care and self esteem concerns. Our providers will explore the intersectionality of identity and cultural upbringing in the therapeutic process to meet the needs of our clients.

We use narrative, experiential, talk and other and post-modern approaches to unearth confidence, dreams, and uncovered potential. Since each client’s experience is unique and complex, our trained providers will use our clinical experience to understand each client’s unique goals, perspectives, identity within the context of their environment in the therapeutic process.

We are currently providing limited weeknights and weekend telehealth (video/phone) in a HIPAA secure video/therapy platform and in person services in our Belmont office with easy access by MBTA bus line by appointment only. Please note that we only offer services to adults 18 and older.

Founder: Dr. Scune Carrington

My name is Scune. My pronouns are she/her. I am the founder, owner and lead clinician at BennuCare LLC. I am a behavioral health practitioner with over a decade of experience providing therapy and managing behavioral health programs in Massachusetts. I incorporate many approaches that explores intersectionality of identity, culture, experience and environment with compassion. I am available to provide psychotherapy, clinical supervision, coaching as well as consulting and training to organizations, corporations and community groups. I have a Master of Social Work from Boston College and I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the Commonwealth. I am also a scholar-practitioner and earned my doctorate in health science at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I regularly attend workshops, conferences, and training programs as part of my ongoing professional development in order to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in treatment to ensure that I provide the highest level of care to my clients.
